PRINCE GEORGE – Around a 25-metre section of Highway 97 north of the city is covered in about 12 centimetres of flood water.

The flood water is currently crossing the highway and undermining the structural integrity of the highway.

The area affected by the localized spring flood is about one kilometre north of North Fraser Forest Service Road.

Drivers are being asked to slow down and follow the traffic controller’s direction. All road traffic is reduced down to one lane, alternating traffic.
