Spruce Kings Light Up the Bulldogs

Chong Min Lee, Patrick Cozzi, Ben Brar and Jarod Hovde were the goal scorers in last nights game to beat the Bulldogs 4-1. The Spruce Kings outshot Alberni Valley 35-15 with 15 of the shots coming in the third period.

Three goals were scored in the second period and an empty netter by Hovde in the third to finish the game. 

The Spruce Kings were also collecting warm clothes and teddy bears for the Salvation Army and Saint Vincent de Paul at last nights game. The crowd of over 1,000 fans managed to throw a total of 8 large garbage bags of clothing on the ice. 

The Spruce Kings will play the Wenatchee Wild tonight at 7 p.m at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
