PRINCE GEORGE – McIntyre Crescent Safety Day was underway Saturday afternoon. It was a way to bridge the relationship between police and residents in McIntyre says organizer Andrew Ardell.

“Trust is a huge thing, trust builds safety, and so we wanna promote trust and the way you build trust is by people interacting together and having fun together,” Andrew Ardell, community coordinator with the Mennonite Central Committee.

This is the second year of the community event which provided free food, a bouncy castle, and an RCMP therapy dog.

The PG RCMP’s 5-2-9 Garage initiative also visited. Bike owners who registered their bike received one entry into a draw for a 2018 Norco Storm mountain bike donated by Cycle World and Norco.
