Truck fire on Highway 97 south near Hixon

PRINCE GEORGE–Emergency personnel were called to the scene of a transport truck fire on Highway 97 south near Hixon around 7 this morning.

According to a 99.3 Drive listener who took this picture, the driver did manage to get out.

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says the cause is currently under investigation.

She says there were no reported injuries.
