A Hat Trick for Richey

Mason Richey scored a hat trick to lead the Cariboo Cougars to victory 6-4 against the Thompason Blazers Saturday night.
The game was tied 1-1 after the first period with shots 17-5 for the Cougars. The Cats capitalized on their powerplay with 2 goals scored by Brennan Malgunas and Richey.
In the last minute of play the Blazers pulled their goalie and Richey scored his thrid goal for the hat trick.
Saturday was also the 3rd annual Mental Health Awareness night for the Cariboo Cougars.
