SD91 Receives Funding From Rio Tinto

VANDERHOOF - School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) announced today that it has secured funding from the Rio Tinto Canada Fund. SD91 received $90,000 for the next three years to continue to develop career awareness activities and initiatives for elementary and high school students.

Highway 97 Re-opens after Windy Point Gas Station Fire

PRINCE  GEORGE - The Windy Point Gas Station, located along Highway 97, 3 km south of the Mackenzie Junction is engulfed in flames.    

Highway 97 North is closed in both directions at Windy Point. According to Drive BC, there is no detour available.
