PRINCE GEORGE – Local First Nation and Indigenous artists were celebrated Saturday at the Hodul’eh-a Artisans Fair.
Held at The Exploration Place, the artisans fair exhibited artwork being created throughout the community.
The fair offered artists a free space to display their work. Everything from painters to wood carvers worked on projects throughout the day. Sporadic singing and drum beat also filled the room.
“It cultivates such good energy, people coming in the door, and asking questions, and looking at our art,” says Jennifer Annais Pighin, visual artist.
