Blackburn Bike Park In Need Of Funding

PRINCE GEORGE – A new bike and skate park has been in the works for months. However, a lack of funds has led community members to look elsewhere to pay for the adventure park near the Blackburn Community Centre.

Remax has committed $120,000 over two years for the Remax Adventure Park. Unfortunately, the park’s planning committee did not receive a grant they were banking on to get park plans rolling, and now need to raise about $350,000. 

A kick-off fundraising event will be held at the Blackburn Community Centre from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm on May 27, which is also when the park design plan will be unveiled.
