2000 Chinook Send-Off

PRINCE GEORGE – Ten months ago, the Spruce City Wildlife Association was given the responsibility to raise 2000 fish eggs. Now they need help from the public, to release the Chinook fry into the Nechako River.  Rain or shine on June 3rd at 11 am at the Nechako boat launch, each person will be given a chinook fry and release it into the river so it can make its way into the ocean.  After the release, an open house will follow at the hatchery.
