PRINCE GEORGE – A new structure is slated to be unveiled in a couple weeks thanks to a partnership between the City and the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation.
Residents are invited to the grand opening of the Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park Pavilion beginning on June 21st, which is National Indigenous Peoples Day. The last day of the festivities is June 24th, which is Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day.
Visitors can look forward to four days of music, public art, theatre and storytelling, which is intended to help advance intercultural understanding and community pride.
The Pavillion itself represents the partnership between the City and the Lheidli T’enneh.
