PRINCE GEORGE – The 2018 Federation of Canadian Municipalities convention has wrapped up in Halifax and a couple of issues stole the show. Naturally, the pending legalization of marijuana was one of the hottest topics at the Federation’s Annual General Meeting. Communities of all sizes are still waiting to see what the new legislation will look like and, in BC’s case, how much of the revenue will they see. But it wasn’t the only agenda item. Infrastructure is always an issue and the new Bi-Lateral Agreements are being finalized now.
