Air Quality Advisory Lifted For Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE – For those heading outside to enjoy the warm weather, you may want to do so with caution as an air quality advisory has been issued for Prince George. 

Northern Health along with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy have has issued the advisory due to high concentrations of fine particulate matter.

The poor air quality is cause for concern for infants, the elderly and for individuals who have diabetes, lung or heart disease. Postponing strenuous exercise and staying indoors is recommended until the advisory has been lifted.
