Funding Available For Female Entrepreneurs

PRINCE GEORGE- A funding opportunity is being offered by the federal government to help women-led businesses grow. That’s because Western Economic Diversification Canada says women own fewer than 16 per cent of businesses and are underrepresented in the economy. Up to 100 thousand dollars is available for projects that focus on the pursuit of market opportunities abroad, expansion and growth, or other activities that support the objectives of the Women Entrepreneurship Fund.
