PRINCE GEORGE — If you have furry friends running around this Halloween, keeping them safe is a top priority.

Halloween hosts several hazards for pets including candy and chocolate that could make your pets sick, candles in Jack-O-Lanterns that could be pulled off tables and the excitement of the evening could create a lot of anxiety for your pet.

Keeping your pet indoors, and away from the excitement, is one of the ways you can keep your pet safe, says the BC SPCA.
