Timberwolves Complete Weekend Series vs TRU

PRINCE GEORGE — It was a weekend sweep for the UNBC Timberwolves women’s team this weekend.

They beat the Thompson Rivers University Wolfpack 78-55 Friday and again on Saturday 79-49. Both victories occurred on home court and improved their record to 8-4.

The men’s T-Wolves earned a split with TRU’s men’s team.  UNBC won Friday’s contest 90-81 but lost a tight won Saturday night, 82-78 in overtime.

The loss dropped the Timberwolves to 7-5 on the season.

Both the men’s and women’s teams host the University of Manitoba Bison next weekend.
