Gas Bill Burns Business Owner

PRINCE GEORGE – A local business owner recently took a closer look at his gas bill and was disappointed to see the amount of carbon tax he was charged. Mike Godfrey has been in operation for nearly two years servicing vehicles.  Recently he noticed the business was charged more for carbon tax than the amount of gas consumed. The carbon tax rate on natural gas is $1.74 per gigajoule which currently is higher than the cost of gas itself.
