CKPG News nominated for RTDNA award

PRINCE GEORGE — The CKPG newsroom has been recognized by the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) for its 2018 Remembrance Day special.

“We Remember” brought you the stories of local modern-day veterans, a national Silver Cross mother who lost her son, the traditions behind Remembrance Day itself, including the meaning behind the poppy and the annual Parade of Colours.

CKPG is a finalist for the Dave Rogers Award, which recognizes the best long feature in the western region in small- and medium-sized markets.

The RTDNA West Region awards will be given out at an April 6 dinner at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver.
