The City of Prince George is gearing up for a clean sweep

PRINCE GEORGE – This time of year city crews hit the streets and begin sweeping operations throughout the city. There are around 550km of paved roadway, 150km of sidewalks, and over 24 square km of medians are swept and flushed each spring by City staff. According to the city, if the sand and material can become dust and negatively affect air quality. Once the roads, medians, and streets have been swept and flushed, crews will begin to line paint if the weather conditions are right.
