PRINCE GEORGE — If you plan on using the Prince George Airport over the next 24 hours, get there early.

That from Manager of Marketing, Communications and Customer Service Susan Clarke who says the baggage x-ray equipment at the airport is currently out of service.

As a result, she says representatives of the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority are manually screening checked passenger baggage.

“Passengers flying out today or tomorrow – and who plan to check luggage – are advised to arrive at the airport two hours prior to their departure time,” says Clarke. “Those with carry-on baggage only will not be affected.”
