PRINCE GEORGE — The living wage in North-Central BC has dropped to $14.03 from $16.51 last year, according to Integris Credit Union. It’s a significant decrease for families but that does not mean the same for people living on their own. The main reason for the drop is BC’s childcare investments which are countering increasingly steep rent and other basic necessities.
