Prince George prepares for a possible evacuation

One of the most likely wildfire scenarios to hit Prince George was acted out with 80 participants from around the city today at the CN Centre.

The scenario chosen back in December by the city as the most likely to occur starts off as a lightning caused wildfire in Beaverly.

Permanent downtown road closure coming:

Drivers, you may want to stay clear of the Downtown area around Sixth Avenue between Dominion Street and Quebec as that area will be permanently closed to commuters starting Tuesday.
