PRINCE GEORGE — The first Pivot Point community classroom will be launched in Prince George to coincide with the next school year, featuring individualized learning for students with diverse abilities. This is done through things like one-to-one and group ABA therapy, and is a much needed resource in the city.

Students in the community classroom follow the same school schedule and curriculum as public schools. A main difference to public school is the smaller educator-to-student ratio, as only a dozen students will be accepted allowing for individualized care. Classes will begin in September.

An open house was hosted Wednesday to promote the program and educate families.
