Bear spray know-how focus of P.G. workshop

PRINCE GOERGE — What would you do if you came face-to-face with a bear?

A workshop tonight (Oct.4) in Prince George will tackle that question.

It takes place at the Spruce City Wildlife Association’s building at 1384 River Road and is part of a tour put on by Gillian Sanders, coordinator with Grizzly Bear Solutions.

She says the workshop will specifically touch on how to properly use bear spray if you experience a bear encounter.

It runs from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. tonight. Sanders will take her free presentation to CNC’s Nechako-Vanderhoof campus for another session from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. tomorrow (Oct.5).
