$700,000 in damage during structure fire

PRINCE GEORGE–Fire crews responded to a structure fire this morning, one that caused thousands of dollars of damage.

Prince George Fire Rescue responded to the reported structure fire in the 1400 block of Shady Valley Rd at around 9 AM. When crews arrived they found smoke coming from the roof and the main floor of the home. Damage to the home is estimated at $700,000.

No one was injured, crews are determining the cause of the fire.
