CNC gets provincial funding to create new health care seats

PRINCE GEORGE – The College of New Caledonia’s Prince George and Mackenzie campuses are among 14 post secondary institutions in BC , getting funding to increase the number of trained caregivers to continue improving care for seniors. The province is providing approximately $3.64 million over the next two years to create 418 new health care assistant seats. The college’s Prince George campus will get $150,000 for 14 additional seats, and $145,000 will go to CNC’s Mackenzie campus to create 8 additional seats.
