Free transit in Prince George for election day

Residents of Prince George taking the bus on Monday can keep their fare in their pockets.

B.C Transit has partnered with the City of Prince George and many other communities around the province to provide free transit on election day so residents can cast their ballots.

As a result, all city buses will be free of charge Monday on all routes throughout the day.

“The City of Prince George has provided free fares for a number of different elections in the past,” shared Communications Manager for B.C Transit Jonathon Dyck.
