YELLOWKNIFE —Mounties are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who’s gone missing in the Northwest Territories.

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says 63-year-old Glenn Harold Field was first reported missing by the RCMP on Oct.11.

Field has grey hair, grey/blue eyes, is five foot eight and weighs 169 pounds.

“Mr Field is reported to spend most of his time on the land, in the area of Rolfe Lake, 150 kilometres northeast of Yellowknife and 72 kilometres due east of Gordon Lake,” she says. “An RCMP search crew travelled to the area, but did not locate Mr. Field.”

Saunderson says he is known to have regular contact with people and businesses in Yellowknife though the exact date of last contact is unknown.

She adds Field is “believed to have spent time in Prince George and to also potentially have ties here in Prince George.”

Saunderson says any kind of information on Field, even if it does not seem relevant, could be helpful to the RCMP.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Yellowknife RCMP at 669-1111 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
