Kids paint Mayor, foreshadowing Cirque du Soleil performance

PRINCE GEORGE–Cirque du Soleil is back at the CN Centre in 2020.

Cirque du Soleil’s latest show, Axel will be performed on Prince George ice in the summer of 2020. This is only the third time the group has come to Prince George.

The announcement was made at the CN Centre Tuesday morning as children from Pineview Elementary painted Mayor Lyn Hall in all different colours. The act is a bit of foreshadowing as to what will happen on the ice from June 25th to 28th.

The show, inspired by music and graphic arts will feature on-ice acrobatics, visual effects and an original soundtrack.
