Myles Mattila is not only known for being a hockey player from here in Prince George, but also for founding MindRight. The mental health project focuses on promoting wellness and positive living for young athletes through increasing community awareness and making use of mental health resources. And now, they’ve partnered with HeadCheck Health. And that’s where this partnership comes in. HeadCheck works with concussion reporting and management, and is already being used by over 800 teams and organizations from BC Hockey to the CFL and more. Concussion care is extremely important especially with young people, fitting in with what Mattila and MindRight aims to achieve.
