Cemetery hit by thieves

PRINCE GEORGE–Police are looking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in a mausoleum theft.

On Monday, March, 9th the Prince George RCMP received a report of a break and enter to the mausoleum at the Prince George Cemetery on Memorial Park Lane.

Police say that initial indications show that one or more people smashed a window to the building to gain entrance and then broke a few niches to steal personal belongings.

Investigators believe that the break-in occurred sometime Friday night or early Saturday morning.
