PCA suspending flights due to novel coronavirus

Pacific Coastal Airlines suspends operations

RICHMOND—Pacific Coastal Airlines (PCA) will be suspending operations as of Tuesday, March 24, due to the novel coronavirus.

According to PCA President, Quentin Smith, this was a difficult but necessary decision to make.

“Given the rapidly deteriorating situation and the need ot be socially responsible during this State of Emergency, we have no other choice than to take the drastic step to protect the health and safety of our employees, the public, and the financial stability of our airline.”—Quentin Smith, PCA President

The airline has plans to resume scheduled operations on Sunday, May 3 if conditions allow.
