Storm watch in effect for Pine Pass

Mar 26, 2020 | 4:20 PM

PRINCE GEORGE — Environment Canada has issued a winter storm watch for the Pine Pass.

“Heavy snow will begin Friday afternoon. Snowfall accumulations will reach 30 cm by Saturday afternoon,” says Environment Canada. “In addition, an Arctic front will push through Pine Pass Friday night producing northeast winds of 30 to 40 km/h with gusts to 60.”

The winds and snow will reduce driver visibility in blowing snow and make travel difficult over some locations adds Environment Canada.
