Cariboo Rocks the North postponed

PRINCE GEORGE—Classic Rock fans will have to wait until 2021 to enjoy another Cariboo Rocks the North festival, as restrictions around gatherings due to COVID-19 are still in place, and don’t seem to be going anywhere soon.

The announcement to reschedule the event to August 6,7, and 8, 2021, was made this morning (May 26) in a release by Cariboo Rocks the North.

The release says that Cariboo Rocks the North, at the moment is working on getting the 2020 festival line-up artists to return to Prince George for the summer of 2021.

For those of you who have already purchased your tickets, here’s what you need to know:

  • tickets that have already been purchased for this summer will be honoured for 2021 dates,
  • VIP 2020 ticket holders, retaining their tickets will be entitled to a pair of Tier-1 tickets to a Prince George Cougar game—$56 in value,
  • All 2020 Cariboo Rocks the North ticket holders retaining their tickets will be entered into a draw for Alice Cooper tickets for his show on Nov. 25 (Five pairs will be given away)
  • 2020 camping ticket holders can also retian their 2020 Camping Passes for 2021
  • Refunds will be offered to those unable to attend the rescheduled dates. Ticket refunds are available between Monday, June 1 and Friday, June 26, 2020 via the Tickets North box Office (a minimal process fee is applicable)
