Air Ambulance base launched in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George is the home for a permanent ambulance helicopter.

The helicopter and crew will have quick access to some of the smaller communities that surround Prince George.

According to BCEHS, the helicopter will change the patient’s experience from potentially spending hours in the back of an ambulance to get to where they need to go.

On a single tank of fuel, the Bell 412 can reach as far as Dawson Creek and all points in north-central BC.
