PRINCE GEORGE – Administration at the University of Northern BC has done an about-face with respect to the Christmas break. Most post-secondary institutions have extended the Christmas break.

The College of New Caledonia made the call last week. and, while UNBC was reluctant to do so, it reversed that decision after the Senate voted unanimously to extend the break by a week. Even Interim President, Dr. Geoff Payne has started to notice the strain on faculty, staff and students as the pandemic moves in its ninth month.
