Province appoints pair of special advisors to review SD57
PRINCE GEORGE – The BC Ministry of Education has appointed two special advisors to review governance practices within School District 57.
The two appointed special advisors are Kory Wilson, Executive Director, Indigenous Initiatives, and partnerships at the B.C. Institute of Technology and Catherine McGregor, associate professor and associate dean of graduate programs and research at the University of Victoria’s faculty of education.
Kory Wilson is the sister of MP Jody Wilson-Raybould, the Ministry says both bring extensive expertise in Indigenous education and relations, as well as educational leadership and effectiveness, which will support their review.
