PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George RCMP is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect they believe may be involved in two downtown break and enters.

Police say the first occurred just before 3 a.m. Monday morning at Walk-Rite shoes located at 1249 4th Avenue.

Police say the front door was broken into and a hole large enough for a person could be seen. The suspect took $200 cash and possibly some shoes.

Security personnel say they saw a person dressed in all black riding a bicycle in the area but did not know if that was the suspect involved.

The second break and enter occurred about 15 minutes later at Surplus Herby’s at 1175 2nd Avenue.

Witnesses told police that a person was smashing the front side glass at the store. The suspect took several air rifles and was likley on a bicycle.

Surveillance showed the suspect was wearing a black balaclava, a camouflage green jacket, dark coloured pants and thick light brown and yellow mittens.
