Enhanced snow budget

PRINCE GEORGE – The City of Prince George’s snow budget runs from January of 2020 to December of 2020.

At the end of 2020, city crews went over its budget of $8.5 million. Included in the snow budget are snow clearing, street sweeping and sidewalk flushing.

During the 2021 budget deliberations, council decided to enhance the snow budget to $10 million for 2021, an increase of $1.5 million.
