PG humane society hosting 50/50 raffle

PRINCE GEORGE–The Prince George Humane Society is holding a 50/50 raffle contest where one person has the chance to win $31,000. So far more than half of that prize pool had been reached.

The human society says this is their covid-safe way of fundraising and it’s one of their bigger ones for the year.

There are three different variety packs people can buy:

2) 15-Ticket Pack for $25,

3) 40-Ticket Pack for $50

All the money goes towards food and medical expenses for the animals. Tickets can be bought until the end of June and the draw day will be July.

Lacey Brunn, a shelter administrator at the humane society, says that the community support has been pouring in.

“The amount of support that we’ve received from the community is absolutely amazing. it’s really great to see how well prince george comes together to support the animals in our community.” said Brunn.
