Shed fire on Quince Street

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a shed fire on the 2600 block of Quince Street this morning.

Crews responded just before 6 a.m. to find the backyard shed fully involved.

The fire also affected the siding on a neighbouring shop and a fence separating the properties.

Assistant Chief Kevin Woodhouse says the fire was “quickly contained” with damages estimated at $8,000. No one was injured and the cause is currently under investigation.
