Two injured in Highway 97 crash near Pineview

Update: North District RCMP have provided on update on last night’s crash on Highway 97, just south of Pineview. It involved two vehicles – a semi and a car – at approximately 5:15 p.m.

Police say it resulted in serious injuries to two people. No word yet on the cause. The crash closed the highway in both directions for several hours as investigators combed the scene.

Earlier: Highway 97 has been cleared between Courval Road and
White Road 6 km south of Pineview, following what Drive BC described as a multi-vehicle accident last night. No further details are available at this time.
