Two million Canadians opened a business this past year despite the pandemic
PRINCE GEORGE – Covid 19 certainly didn’t hold back Canadians who wanted to make a living out of their passions. Research from Intuit Canada says that nearly two million Canadians opened a business this past year, despite the pandemic.
New and old businesses have had to quickly adapt to the changing COVID-19 health regulations and those changes did not come without challenges. For the Makerie Craft and Coffee Bar, that meant adding a patio so they could still keep their doors open.
Intuit’s research also showed that over 70% of Canadian entrepreneurs and aspiring Canadian entrepreneurs are optimistic for the future despite the challenging year.
