RCMP seek 45-year-old wanted man

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: RCMP say this man is no longer being sought by police.

Earlier: Local Mounties are seeking the public’s help in locating a wanted man.

Forty-five year-old David Auger is wanted for theft under $5000, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats and failure to comply with conditions, stemming from several incidents in Prince George.

Auger is described as:

  • Indigenous male
  • 173 cm (5’8)
  • 96 kg (212 lbs)
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Multiple tattoos on both arms
