RCMP arrest prohibited driver

PRINCE GEORGE — Two people were arrested following an early morning incident Tuesday.

Local Mounties say they attempted to pull a prohibited male driver over near Northwood Pulpmill Road just after 12:30 a.m. but instead of stopping, the driver fled down a dead end road and rammed though a set of metal gates and into a large field.

Police say the man resisted arrest, even attempted to bear spray police, but was eventually apprehended, along with his passenger, with the help of Police Dog Services.
