PRINCE GEORGE – It can be seen from far afield. The new housing project by the Aboriginal Housing Society on 17th Avenue. Work is being done on Phase One, which is a 50-unit townhouse complex with one-bedroom to three-bedroom units.

The overarching dream is to have a complex where one can live from cradle to grave.

“We can’t come up with a full name but, right now, we refer to it as an urban community because this is what we’re looking for,” says Kim Hamilton, Acting Executive Director with the Aboriginal Housing Society of Prince George. “A community where families, seniors, youth can all come together.”
