Three CKPG stories nominated for BCAB award

VANCOUVER — Three CKPG news stories have been nominated as finalists for a British Columbia Association of Broadcasters (BCAB) award for excellence in news reporting.

The three stories are: ‘Rally for Brody,‘ ‘Crosswalk Survivor,’ and ‘PG Family Mourns Loss of Family Home.’

‘Rally for Brody’ detailed how 2020 was a rollercoaster for Brody Dery, who battled through Crohn’s disease and stage 3B of Hodgkins Lymphoma.

‘Crosswalk Survivor’ talked about the need for a new pedestrian crossing on 1st Avenue and Ospika Boulevard after 18-year-old Sean Lode was struck there while crossing the street in May, 2020.
