Bulkley Lake fire sparks an evacuation order and alert

The Bulkley Lake wildfire in the northwest centre, is some 250 hectares in size and classified as out of control.

The Regional District of Bulkley- Nechako has issued an Evacuation Order for the area of Rose Lake, extending approximately 10 km to the west, on both sides of Highway 16 and encompassing Bulkley Lake to the south.

The RDBN has also issued an Evacuation Alert for an area north of the Order area.
