Northern Health declares COVID-19 outbreak in Dawson Creek over

KAMLOOPS — A COVID-19 outbreak at Rotary Manor in Dawson Creek is officially over.

On Thursday (July 8), Northern Health said protocols related to the affected unit – Special Care Unit-South – would be lifted.

The outbreak was declared June 11. In total, there were two confirmed resident cases of COVID-19. Sadly, one of the residents who had tested positive in association with the outbreak passed away.

According the Northern Health, there are no active COVID-19 community or facility outbreaks within the region.
