Two-vehicle MVI slows traffic on Highway 16 at Beaverly

PRINCE GEORGE — Update (4:45p.m.): The road has been cleared.

Earlier: Avoid Highway 16 between Hooper Road and W Beaverly Road if you can.

North District RCMP has confirmed a two-vehicle crash occurred in the area at 3:18 p.m. which closed the highway though it has since reopened to single-lane alternating traffic.

Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says a tow truck has been dispatched. No word yet on what caused the crash or if anyone was injured.
