100 MILE HOUSE — Police in 100 Mile House are seeking the public’s help in locating a woman not seen since Sunday (July 11).

S/Sgt. Svend Nielsen says the RCMP were notified that Danessa Lynn Dunphy was missing on July 12 and says she was last known to be in the 100 Mile House area.

He says her mother called police after Dunphy’s phone was no longer in service and because she hadn’t heard from her, which was unusual.

Danessa Dunphy is described as:

  • White female
  • 38-years-old
  • 173 cm
  • 66 kg
  • Long blonde dreadlocks

RCMP say she was last seen wearing a bikini top and shorts. She also travels with a dog and she may also be travelling with a friend named Meagan. Police do not know which direction she is travelling, but it is suspected she may have gone back to Vancouver Island, specifically Nanaimo, where she previously lived.

100 Mile House RCMP are looking for Danessa to make contact with the police closest to her location and assure her mother and police of her well being. If anyone has information as to the whereabouts of Danessa, please contact your local Police agency or the 100 Mile House RCMP at 250-395-2456 to speak with an officer. If you wish to provide your information anonymously, you can contact BC Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477). Please refer to file 2021-2759.
